9. Emmy Again by ????
(Ask Emmy for advise, do it now)

Hi guys, what do you think of making this "Livejournal" group also a "Facebook" group, as that place has more people? Would that be lame?

Also, is it still uncool to talk about Facebook even online? (...Especially online?)

Also, Emmy do you spell your name Emi? And what is that all about!

Well I thought this was a great show; review it you guys.

0. Secret Piece by Philemmy
I like to think that no copywrite laws were breached, because he never actually quite got to the singing the song part.

1. Greatest Invention of All Time by Emmybates
This was pretty good; I liked where you described how you were following a story arc or whatever... yep.

2. Dinosaurs by Sophie King
This was a good piece. I think Sophie should perform it at No Shame Theater. When I was watching this piece, I was thinking "This seems like a piece that Sophie should perform at No Shame Theater."

3.Local News Anchor by LILLY
I'm sorry guys. I hate it when people laugh at their own jokes.

4. Death of Trotsky by Paul Goldenstein
Nice. I hope Paul writes more. I was kind of scared it was going to end on a serious note, but the bit of drama near the end only made the punch line more effective. Also, good use of props.

5. You're the One That I Want by Lily "LC" Chong and inspired by someone else
At the end, as he was walking off to go to great things or whatever, he should have made a complete fool of himself, like tripped or something instead of being hugged. Undo all the efforts to make him feel better about himself... Now THERE'S an ending.

6. Monologue Written in the Margins of Math Notebook by Emily Artz
Some of it seemed a little music technical (like it would have gone over better at a string bass convention) but overall it was good, and funny. Great imagery and so forth, and the last line wrapped it up really nicely.

6.5 Self Esteem by LILLY
Meh

7. Sophie Song by King Sophie
I liked it! Accordians are way cool.

8. Mike's Piece by Mike
Oh man, Mike and Eleni: a winning combination.
Yeah this was short but great.

9. Emmy Again by ????
I thought that the letter was going to be from Mrs. Lestina!
I like jokes that make fun of Lestinas!
But your version was good too.

My name is spelled Emmy. Zakir misspelled my name as 'Emi' in the musical program, which is why everyone thinks that.

Anyway, order...
0. The Secret Piece--Sorry about that.

1. The Greatest Invention of All Time by Me (Emmy) I thought people would like it more. Oh well. I realized midway through that I didn't have my picture of a fish, but I did have a fish bag!

2. Dinosaurs by Sophie King. I liked it a lot. The natural history museum is really creepy. Plus it's always really cold in their because of their wierd airconditioner.

3. Local News Anchor by Lilly. Hilarious! I'm still laughing about the velvet chair!

4. Death of Trotsky by Paul. When he first showed it to me, I didn't think it was funny because I thought Trotsky was the guy who wrote Overture of 1812. He explained it, and I thought it was really great. BOYS material, yes?

5. You're the One That I Want by Lily "LC" Chong. I don't watch TV, so I didn't get it, but I remember that there was good acting.

6.5 Self Esteem by Lilly. Very good

7. Sophie Song by King Sophie. Awesome! I have tried to play an acordian, and I failed horribly. I'm really impressed by your badass acordian playing. Plus, the song was (creepy) and good.

8. Mike's Piece by Mike Awesome. Sadly, I have no trouble believing that Mike was like that when he was younger.

9. Ask Emmy by me. I dunno. Had a skit in my bag, and the secret piece didn't work, and I thought I'd just do it.

On to BOYS nominations...
~Ancient Art of Gargling by me
~Mike's piece about Czechs
~All State Orchestra by Tareq
~Milkshake by Me (It's the only way Mr. Lestina will do his crazy stripper dance for his wife)
~Honest Henry's Guide to Survival by Philemmy.

That's about it. A facebook group would be cool because past yesshamers would become aware of Yes Shame performances, (possibly even come?) More people have facebook than live Journal, so I think it's a good idea.

Oh, and Lily's anchorman piece should be in BOYS. That one was really good.

Please don't do Dear Emmy in Boys--Mocking Josh Hall twice isn't funny.

I wish I talked like that... I did hit voice changes when I was about 11ish though...

0. Secret Piece by Philemmy
-it's weird, I was going to do it's raining men for mine too, but I figured that I should go with something that was easier. overall, it was secret

1. Greatest Invention of All Time by Emmybates
-I liked it. I'm a sucker for random jesusry

2. Dinosaurs by Sophie King
I tend to feel that way in every museum. Either something doesn't fool you, or there is something that kind of wants to kill ya.

3.Local News Anchor by LILLY
Lilly, how are you so good? I didn't really know if you were laughing yourself, or if you planned it... overall the obvious best of the night

4. Death of Trotsky by Paul Goldenstein
I think that without the "HA" at the end of it, that the end would have been good or right. Overall, I liked it.

5. You're the One That I Want by Lily "LC" Chong and inspired by someone else
Once again, I don't quite know what "the one that I want" really is, but I did like it.

6. Monologue Written in the Margins of Math Notebook by Emily Artz
did you really cut your hand open? it was good. the description of the string when they come undone was great.

6.5 Self Esteem by LILLY
-good. kind of predictable though. but still funny

7. Sophie Song by King Sophie
Nice. I didn't know that either you knew how to play accordian... or maybe you are just good with instruments?

8. Mike's Piece by Mike
I feel kind of bad about it. other than being too short, I stole the voice from two people. It is the voice of a 14-year old girl that was on the Maury show(I have lunch with my nana, and it's on), and also the voice of a guy who works at goodwill.

OH! should I come up with titles like "run go and get it"?

9. Emmy Again by ????
good, good

I'd say go for a facebook group. I think that if you don't have a livejournal, then you have a facebook.

I've never cut my hand open. I've had the ends of strings scratch me, but I way exagerated.

My sister really did walk in on me stabbing at my bass with a steak knife, though.

Tasha's purple eye

0. Secret Piece by Philemmy
I love Phil's voice on helium

1. Greatest Invention of All Time by Emmybates
Good.

2. Dinosaurs by Sophie King
Reminded me of "Night at the Museum" starring Ben Stiller....which I've actually never seen.

3.Local News Anchor by LILLY
I hated Lilly's "perky" voice, but other than that it was cute.

4. Death of Trotsky by Paul Goldenstein
Paul should write more stuff.

5. You're the One That I Want by Lily "LC" Chong and inspired by someone else (the "someone else" is Liz LaPan, if it makes it to BOYS please credit her)
I nominated this piece for BOYS, we'll see if it makes it.

6. Monologue Written in the Margins of Math Notebook by Emily Artz
I'm not an orchestra person, so I wasn't really entertained.

6.5 Self Esteem by LILLY
Cute.

7. Sophie Song by King Sophie
That was kinda creepy.

8. Mike's Piece by Mike
I nominate this one for BOYS and give it a more creative title, mmmkay?

9. Emmy Again by ????
BEST OF RIGHT THERE. I love love love LOVE how Emmy referenced the best piece I have ever written for Yes Shame.

And go to the dessert concert on Saturday, MY BEST FRIEND PHIL IS SINGING!!!!!!!!!!

And some BOYS nominations

Hannah Montana Dance by me (so I can make Eric Mullen dance again, and maybe Phil)
Untitled Hannah Montana Piece by me (so I can sing and be knocked over)
Mike's piece from last night where he sang "My Humps"
Blind Revelation by me and inspired by Emmy and Sarah Chapman (it's not in any order on here, but it's the one where Phil and Eric were boyfriends and I was psycho-religious)
the mouthwash one
Drama Excercise #3 by me (the one where Phil was suicidal and then proposed to me, this was a piece I wrote for Creative Writing)
You're The One that I Want by me
Dear Emmy by Emmy
And one I wrote that was actually performed last semester but didn't make it to BOYS called The Gun Show (I want to film it)

And that's all!

I know posting three times isn't cool, but my grandfather monologue can't be in BOYS either, because I'm doing it for Studio Series.
